So, the long weekend is up, and we are back from West Virginia (just a quick up-there-and-back for the Seabolt reunion) and the cats are still boarded and the house always smells kind of unfamiliar when we first get back and I’m sleepy and have a lot on my mind. Like: every year, seems like I can recognize and name fewer and fewer people at the reunion. Like: houses can be missed, too. Like: I have never once sent a text message. Like: there’s always more to organize. Like: there’s no way to know what the other side of a transition is going to look like. Funny how things change, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s not always in terms of “good” or “bad.” Sigma Tau has been on my mind. Zea’s in law school, and Sabrina’s getting a nursing degree, and I’m thinking about our Sigma Tau days, when we took a little English club that was actively dying and did something with it. That means more than just a sentence, but I need to rest and think more before launching into anything.
More after a shower and some sleep and breakfast with Simona tomorrow. And getting my cats back. Oh, and remind me to tell you about the Chinese herbs we’ve got Gracie on these days. Fun times.

Aw, yes, Sigma Tau days… It certainly is more than a sentence.
I’m glad you got to have a quick, little trip to WV.
Yes, time passing, things changing, and transitions are, well, I am still not sure what they are.
What I am sure of though is that is is absolutely amazing that you haven’t ever sent a text message. I am amazed and strangely proud of you!
Everything Zea said + if I don’t find out about Gracie’s herbal remedy in another post, you’d better tell us about it here!
