Yesterday, while running toward the unattended bowl of cherries: “Oliver, you can’t eat cherries; you’re a cat!”

About

I'm a twentysomething MFA grad enjoying life in a state of flux, dreaming of Paris and San Francisco while loving the warm summer evenings in North Carolina. I'm a little irreverent, a little mercurial, with an uncanny knack for putting my foot in my mouth.

Edgar likes cherries, too. He likes to push the pits around like little toys and chew on the stems. But then again, Edgar will eat almost anything, as long as it’s not catfood, especially not any kind of natural catfood where the first ingredient is meat and not rice or corn. He really likes junk food and hates fish, and yet he is super skinny. What a weird cat I adopted.
I think Edgar and Oliver are related. In fact, I’m pretty sure of it.
